Smarty...anyone???

Just wondering if any of you guys happen to have a smarty for the 24v???? I really want the high idle and was hoping I could get it off someone?????

hmmmm, my work did it for me for free.....you could prolly get it done for cheap somewhere

Trucks off warrenty and it would cost about $50 to have it done...BUT if someone has a smarty they could do it for FREE....and I would prefer the FREE one!

And I wasn't sure if they would do it on a manual....

mines a 6 spd and they did it for me.....for free haha

I'd like to use a smarty also after al the BS I've gone through with a local dealer!!:fist:

My local dealer wanted $58 to do the update off of the TSB. I decided I would rather save the money toward a smarty, so I have the power program as well as the cold weather idle. I need to fix some other problems first, though. I read several posts of smaller dealerships in the more southern regions that would just do it for you. I think they get very few calls for cold weather idle, so they just do them. Of course, I was the first person (according to the dealer) to ever mention a cold weather idle TSB here, so ???

same for me, no one had mentioned that before and they were asking if i had the TSB for proof it was actually a TSB LOL!
