Newbie taking a 2500 from *mellow* to HELL-o! (PIX!!)

Hey all -

Been looking at your site for a while and gleaning some good stuff.
Figure it is time to say hi and throw some goodies in.

This is our first real cummins - had a '76 MB 300D in college but it was junk.
Dont know if i can add a lot to the technical discussions of diesel but am having a good time learning from you all.

We are out here in Northern California for the moment...Kind of sucks (booo! Stupid CARB) but a few more years on our contract and then we are out of here, have land down in middle tennessee near Savannah. Anyone down in Hardin county?
Just me, the wife, and the dog so being DINKs allows us some discretionary funds to mess with.
AND WE DO....here are some other toys/projects.....

Screwin' around light trail adventurer -

the 'ride around tahoe' rig -

sand mountain rig -

the public nuisance rig -

Ol' Blue with the fishin rig -

the bar hopper rig (background shows the mild cummins pre-build-up)

the "pin you to your seat rig that i regret selling" -

But enough of that....you are here to see diesels.

So we picked up this '06 2500 stock a few years back. Used it alot to tow the toy hauler to oregon dunes and sand mountain when we had quads and the buggy. Sold all that and moved on. still have a few dirt bikes but dont have to tow heavy anymore. Considered selling it but instead, realized that this has been one of the best trucks we ever owned so...off to the races we go with mods!

To date, a list of things done -
6 inch lift, 37's
herculined nerf bars and grille
just got back today from Reunel for new front/rear bumpers
interior tint, satellite radio, husky liners
so far the drivetrain is stock
Much more to come i fear.....

So here she is before mods began (6 months ago)

And as of today after her new bumps....

Ha ha ha...'bull bar'....

Looking forward to good advice on here. Pete

The rail was a blast. And super cheap. Dual webers 2180. Lots of fun.

Thanks guys, looking forward to modding out as much as the communist state of california lets us .....(another reason i need to talk with someone on here from tennessee...)
