I come from mostly the Japanese tuning world, with some euro stuff and motorcycles thrown in. I've had preludes and 240SXs and DSMs and an RX7 and jap bikes. I've helped build many VWs (but none of them TDis) and a few BMWs. I've also had B-body GMs, and gas F-trucks... this is my first diesel. It was my grandfathers and he kept it dead stock for nearly 25 years. It's a 1992 D250 Auto LE. So far I've put a Hungry Diesel fuel pin in it, 3200 gov spring, 16 cm turbine housing, BHAF, Diamond eye 4" exhaust, ~1 turn on the fuel screw, and the rest has basically been maintenance (bilstein shocks, new tires, etc)... I'm fairly happy with the way it drives at this point, anything more would really be for fun. Anyway, yarp I'm new...
