Smile Hello from Puyallup, WA!

Hello all!

I just bought a used 2006, 2500 Mega Cab Laramie with a 6" lift and 37" Toyo's that need to be replaced ASAP!

The truck came from Idaho was originally a Dave Smith Kellog, ID truck and I still have some warranty left on the power and drive train. There are some small repairs that I need to do like the passenger seat belt doesn't fully retract and brakes needing replaced especially the front, but such is life.

Right now I seem to be averaging about 14.5 mpg on the hwy and about 11 in the city, am I disappointed? Heck No! I traded in a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser that I might have gotten 11 on the Hwy and close to 8 in town. Great off road rig but sucked @$$ driving anywhere else. I used to have an '84 Suburban 3/4 ton 6.2 Litre that got 18 mpg from Albany, OR to Boise, ID but the 6.2... well I don't think I need to go into details about that rig on this sight.

Anyway I hope to learn all I can, but unfortunately cannot help much as I am way behind on the power curve on the 5.9. My primary passion are military style semi-auto's and just about all firearms so maybe I can help in that area if anybody has any questions.

Hope to get to know all the local guys and am curious if there is a local Dodge 5.9 Cummins club or something like that as there are alot of these trucks on the road and the owners are sure proud of their rigs no matter what year they have.
