Any Bank Recomendations?

Well, I spent most of my day today at banks.....not the best way to spend your day off!!!!

Anyways, Im not realy happy with my bank. Theres nothing keeping me there, other than my cousin works there and I get to catch up on things when i go it.

Reason Im not happy is because I was talking with the loan officer about getting a new loan for a truck. Nothing out of the ordanary, just a basic loan. Thing is, the truck has a TON of money sunk in it, so the guy is asking a bit more than a stock truck......big suprise.

Anyways she said what she could do, which was about 5K less than what the guy wanted. I told them I have some left over from selling my truck and could come up with a bit. Thing is I need them to be a little lenient and bump it up maybe 2K at the most (not that much for a Bank!). Well she said she couldnt do that. Ok, I wasnt too mad. So I said "Me paying off 5 trucks early, my family paying off 4 vehicles and our waverunner,then the 3 vehicles we hae now through them, Having a morgage there and NONE of us being late on 1 payment doesnt mean anything?". Now for me, any bank would love that kind of business!!! She turned to me with a straight face and said "So What?".....

That got my blood BOILING!!!!! They cannot be that stupid to disrespect some of their best costomers in town. And its not just this insident that has turned me off to the bank!

So anyways, Im looking for a new bank. I have my checking account at a different bank and Ill probably just keep it there, but they dont realy do Auto loans. They just do Home and Farm Loans.

So does anyone know of a different bank that is going to treat me right? I got an A+ credit score, so Im not worried about that, just need to get the loan I want on a truck Im wanting to get this week!!!

Oh, and when you see the truck, youll see why Im wanting to get it soon!!!!

sounds like you need to switch banks, as soon as she said so what i would like to think id just walk out and make a big point

Did you try State Bank of Burnettsville? That's who i went through and they were pretty easy to get a loan, of course that was over 3 years ago before all the banking problems began.

My friend got a loan for a 12V, highly modded, so I'll ask who he got it through.

It was a credit union!

Ill try Bank of Burnettsville. They have a branch in Monticello. There are a few other banks that I want to try. Biggest problem is....all the underwrites go off a peice of paper that tell you what a truck is worth, not what the auctual truck is worth. Kind of annoying!!!!

Oh and did I say this is for a Ford?

Exactly. I think that the bank he got it through specializes in classic/sports cars.

He knows its National City, but he's gonna have to dig up some paper work to find which group it is called. Heads up, he said you will need receipts, an appraisal or some other form of validation of value.

unfortunately most banks don't recognize the value of aftermarket mods. There concern is the loan amount verses repo value. You would think your loan history would speak for itself.... They can pi_$ you off just as much as a stealership
