Hello all...

Just wanted to drop you all a line and let you know how things are going. I've been working a new job the last few months out of necessity. Graveyard shift and lots of OT so I haven't had much time to devote to you guys and this site as a mod.
I sent a message to other mods that Headhunter should be moved from VP into my position as President. I will be stepping down, I'm sorry to say. I feel it is an injustice for me to retain the position if I have no time. Headhunter is doing a great job and he deserves it, so if the powers that be make the move, I hope you'll give him the support he deserves.

Thanks for your time. I'll be dropping in when I can. Take care, stay safe and keep those turbo's whistling....

hello All

Dorkweed,

The truck looks as good as it runs.
The traction issue has reared its ugly head.
I'm looking for some slicks to go racing this year.HHMMM
How is your truck running/

Hi Guys, Does anyone know of any diesel shops that can be trusted in Central Illinois? I am willing to drive to get someone good to fix the Killer Dowel Pin in my 1992 W250. Do they have meetings for the Illinois group often? I would love to get together and get ideas for this beast.

Where in Central Illinois are you?

I'd suggest a truck shop, Central Illinois Trucks in Morton comes to mind.

I am by Springfield, (Tovey, IL) but I would GLADLY drive to Morton if I knew I could trust the guys. I keep getting different opinions on what it should cost to put the plate over the dowel pin. Have you had this done yet ?
