Do it yourself with a Tape Measure. There are no camber or caster adjustments so you just need to set toe. Just use a tape measure at the front and rear of the front tires and adjust them so the front is about a quarter inch closer togather then the rear. then you can drive the vehcle and adjsut your steering wheel accordingly. Thats just my way of saving $130 for them to do a crappy job.
Interesting handle-----
The issue I have with the do it yourself method you describe is accuracy.
I like the machine to do mine for that reason.
You can't get the same spot on the tire front & rear. As you described it gets close then you adjust.
Some tire dudes have specials to cut the costs.
Caster is adjustable by the cams on the lower control arm, camber can be adjusted with a different ball joint if necessary. I would get it on a alignment rack. I'm sure the northern members can shoot you in the right direction

Ive done alignments on several trucks I have had like this and I have allways got it dialed in 100% perfect doing it this way. I had an 01 dodge with a 6inch cepek lift that had alignment issues that no shop could solve, I did the tape measure method, dialed in the TRE's and it worked perfect.

Hmm...Well I'm poking around now, I heard good things about Gene's tire in Westmont. I'm going to try them. Someone sent me specs from the Geno's site so I'll take the truck there and see what they will do. There is a little slop in the front end (15 degrees at most) I'm going to check the tie rods and bushings before I take it. This is my first diesel, I'm so excited to get it on the road.
