Hi, I have 96 3500 12 valve that is beginning to have rough idle and will die if I have been working it pulling my 34' 5th wheel. New fuel filter 1800 miles ago. Truck has 132000 miles After working it and then stoping at a stop sign it seems to have lope in the idle. Not real noticable, but its there. If I let off the accelerator quickly at a stop sign it will die or have that rough idle. Any suggestions?: Jim |

Just to update on myself. I have 96 3500 12 valve standard cab purchased in 98. I was Indy 500 crash/rescue truck. It has decals displaying Indy 500 1996 and several other Indy decals. Truck had 48000 on when I bought it, now has 132000. I am in process of installing double deep tranny pan and temp guage so I can monitor more closely while pulling my 34' Jayco 5th wheel. I have been retired 5 years. Got to go early. Was railroad engineer. Finally getting my list whittled down so we can begin to enjoy the 5th wheel. Jim |

I wouldn't be surprised if your rubber fuel lines are allowing air in. Short sections between frame rail and engine on both feed and return lines.
