air intakes

I just got a 07 cummins about a month ago and am ready to start letting it breath alittle bit. just wondering what some quality applications or homemade jobs would be.

are there any tricks to making the new CR's really loud? i am probably going to just put a 5" straight on it

Good Lord, how loud do you want? My straight-piped 04.5 was unbearable. I put a Magnaflow on it and it's still pretty loud, but much smoother.

it is a 5.9, i want this rig to be as loud as possible witout stacks... and how do i do it?

my straight 5" is pretty rediculous!

I just put on 4in turbo back MBRP on my 07 5.9L and its only loud when I stand on it idle is nice but not loud enough. I have a auto so running around 1500RPM then hammer it ohhh sounds sooo good! I just went to FL the other day and went through mobile they have a big tunnel there and you wouldnt belive all the noise I could make in there sounds good to go

was that on I10? i grew up in p'cola (well, pace, close enuf) and made lots of trips back and forth to mobile - back in the day - good grief im getting old, my lil rice burners didn't do the trick in there! LOL

Hook that sumb!tch to a trailer, it gets real old after abut ten minutes on the highway.....

The MagnaFlow mellowed the sound out considerably. It no longer sounds like a V-twin motorcycle with cheap drag pipes.

Oh but I like it. Everyone I'm around says they can hear it waaaaay before I get there and that it sounds like a big rig, lol! I have considered maybe putting an Aero Turbine 4040 or 4040xl on there if I ever get tired of how loud it is...but I probably won't
