Maybe you guys could help

I know I have not posted in here for a while, been busy traveling. Anyway, the brakes seem to drag, especially after sitting for a while. I don't drive it everyday, sometimes it stits for a week or so and nowit seems like the brakes drag the first time out. The rotors are getting real hot and even the rims get hot. It happened once before and then went away, I chalked it up to maybe leaving the E-brake on but it happened again yesterday. There is a ton of rust around the pads and rotor edge. I need it to drive to Ohio wednesday so any ideas would be appreaciated.

Stuck calipers? That is what I would check first.

Sounds like the calipers are sticking on you, Bud!!! It's common on vehicles that aren't driven a lot. Heck, my work trailer brakes lock up on me every morning after a damp, rainy, humid or foggy night!!!

That is what I am thinking. I am in the middle of putting new pads on, lubing up the caliper pins and putting a little anti-seeze where the pad rides in the holder. THe pads that came out were pretty thick but they are really rusty (right rear is the worst and is chipping up). I am almost thinking the pads are hanging up on the rail since I hat to beat the ols set out with a mallet. If there is still a problem I will get new calipers.....it's only money, I can print more.

I always set my E-brake also so maybe that is creating a problem also.
