Grayslake IL pull TENTATIVE 7-27-07

Grayslake IL pull TENTATIVE 7-27-07

Guys, this pull is TENTATIVE for Friday night.
Pull starts at 6:30, if we KNOW you are coming and are going to be late, the Diesel class will be last to give you time to get there.

This is a PI pull. We need about 5 trucks to commit, I'm in so we only need 4 more.
Please post on here to let us know if you can make it.

General rules (not sure on hanging weights yet)
26" hitch height
No Drugs
No hanging weights

Other than that, its open!

PI is trying to get a diesel class going, try to show up so we can put on a good show and encourage this!

Never pulled before but I'd like to try... would I be able to?

Aside from what you stated, I have no idea if I'd be able to and I'd need some schoolin' on what exactly to do.

I'm guessing 4w-lo? roll into the throttle and hang on...?

4 wheel low, 3rd gear (lock out OD if possible) hold the brake, build some boost until the brakes won't hold you, and let er rip!

Woah, sorry buddy, missed that! I am at the same level+
Sig is obsolete with a capital O.

I'd say you'd still be OK.. Its under warranty anyways, if you break it you can upgrade to the GOOD stuff! You can put it in with the trans still in the truck even!

I just went to the Lake county fair ground watching the monster trucks, im going again this friday for the truck pulls since I only live 5 min away. Questions:

1. Lets have a list of whos going?
2. Lets have a list of whos actually doing the truck pulls?
3. How much is it to do a truck pull?
4. How many passes?
5. How heavy are the sleds?
6. Is a truck like mine even worth putting it or will my $hit just break?

Here is a link to my truck 2 days ago with the new tires/rims and 6" lift, you will also see my mods on the bottom of the pics/vids:

Just tried out my new 6" suspension in the mud, pics and vids - Dodge Diesel - Diesel Truck Resource Forums

Yeah Tony, I'm only about 15-20 minutes from the fair grounds. I would consider pulling if I had a clutch. I'm still nursing the stocker until I can find some time to get one installed. I'm so f___in' busy now, but the $$$ keep rolling in!!! If I work now, I can play in the fall and winter during hunting season!!! If some of the crew are gonna be there pulling, I'll show up and give you all encouragement!!! Wow, just looked, that's tomorrow!!! It's still OK, I'll be there if some of the crew is, and I'll buy the first round!!!

Just talked to the sled owner, he is looking for Badger pullers or dedicated higher hp pullers only, this is an invitational only pull, sorry I wasn't aware of this.
Weight bars will be allowed, pretty much anything that goes in Badger will be allowed.
