The news... as promissed!

Well about 2 months ago the Mrs. and I orderd a truck!

we traded off the '00 for a '07 ............. Dakota!.... ...

.
.
.

Actually we still have the '00 and ordered a 6.7! it was "supposed" to be in on the 20th of june... but that didn't happen.. it came in on the 25th. and we were about 800 miles from home vacationing!

so we went and picked it up on Monday! drilled a 4 inch hole in the bed on Tuesday and put the B&W hitch in that day! it'll have close to 600 miles on it when the wife gets back from work today! and it's going on the Maiden voyage w/ the trailer hooked to it Tomorrow!

Details: '07 3500 Dually, 4x4, 68rfe Auto, Inferno Red, quad cab! Laramie H package, sunroof, the only option we didn't get w/ it was the DVD player, Navigation, and auto pilot! OH and floor mats! it's amazing to me that a new truck - Sticker priced @ $52K doesn't come w/ floor mats!

the power is awesome and the exhaust brake is going to be a very nice feature while pulling! hell it's nice just driving around!

w/ 4th Gear being direct drive, when using the manual shift button, it kinda had a funky clunk into 4th, so She was driving and took 3rd gear to about 2600 and then shifted into 4th.... and well there was a little PPRRRRTTT from the back tires @ that point!

it's doing great... getting 15.3 according to the Overhead! the first tank was reading 15.1 I hand calculated it and came up w/ 14.98> since the truck was a June baby, we are wondering if it has the new flash installed from the factory!?

that's the news! pictures will follow, probably on sunday!

Congrats on the new truck I would go and complain to the dealership about the missing floor matts. Floor matts should be a standard in ANY vehicle, regardless of make model etc. You just spent a small fortune, at least the dealership could do is throw in 130 bucks worth of matts.
