Talking New job!!!!!!

Hey there every one. The last time we all met up I was still employed, but very under employed. :fist: I had been working only a day or two a week. And then the last three weeks I haven't worked at all. If I was not a union Carpenter I would have went and found another rite away. But as a union guy I have channels I have to follow. Most of the time you have to know someone.

Wellllll , I do . A friend in one of the Jeep clubs I'm in told me about an opening where he is employed.

The company is Thorndale Construction, and the opening is for Superintendent. Well a couple of interviews and a weeks worth of worry on my part and Bam I got the call.

I went yesterday and went with the owners of Thorndale to the project I will be responsible for. It is in Dundee and is a Chipotle restaurant. We also set up the new phone and Email addy. They actually gave me more than I was asking for salary, and I get a paid vacation and holidays.
I as a carpenter have never had paid holidays nor have I had a paid vacation.

I am so excited I cant control myself..........

So I may have more time to spend and money on my Truck ofcourse..... .....Jay........
