Slipped It

Slipped the stock clutch this past weekend. Got a happy foot on Saturday!! That's the first time; how many times can the stocker take that?? Anyone know of somewhere in NE Illinois or SE Wisconsin that'll install a South Bend OFE??

Hey DW.

Heavy metal performance in Joliet Did mine when I was injured. I think I paid less than $1300 out the door. And I haven't had a problem.

I actually made my stock clutch last 4 months after I slipped mine for the first time.

Where in NE IL are you? I visit Fox Lake at times to visit my grandpa. I also lived there for less than a year too.

I live about 4-5 miles East of Fox Lake in West Miltmore or unincorporated Lake Villa. I drive through Fox Lake a couple times a week!!

Thanks Jay, I'll keep them in mind. I was really looking for a place a bit closer to me though. I don't want to drive 90 miles for a new clutch if I don't have to!! There's a couple of distributor/installer places in Wisconsin on the SBC website but none listed in Illinois. Wonder why??? I think I'll call South Bend and ask them. Take care Jay!!
