New 370 Injectors; Not Running Right Please Help

installed 370 marine injectors. having some problems. ?LOWER RPM in gear., chuggs when driving at low speeds;and after tc lock up.also when in gear if i press throttle and release throttle rightaway it dies out. CAN ANY ONE HELP

My old 95 did the same thing. It's happening about 1200-1300rpm right? I bumped the timing up from stock to 16* and installed 181 delivery valves problem was gone. The 160 pumps have a hard time with 370's stock.

I didn't know that you could change the timing. How do i do that? Also I have a TST fuel plate #6. Are the phone numbers in your signature where I can get 181 delivery valves? Another question I have is I have a Trans temp. gauge. I tapped off of the Trans temperature senser with an auto meter Trans temp. manifold. Is this an ok place to take Trans temp. readings?

Are the stock DVs in a 97 215 p-pump 181s?
