Free Fuel!!!

Well, since my LP is in the tank, I need to drain it to install suction tube. And wouldnt you know it, I just filled up Saturday morning! I'm gonna try to get a clean 55 gallon drum from work, but if I cant, first one to let me know can have the fuel. You'll just have to meet me at a freinds house, then will syphon it from one to the other.

On boy, this is gonna be fun!

good luck Don.... I'm sure one of the boys will take ya up on the offer!

And I just filled up yesterday... dang it...

Dropping the tank isn't all that bad. Just take your time. Make sure you button her up real good before you re-install. Let us know how it goes... I'm guessing you're going with FASS...?

Yeah Tony I am. Got a smoking deal on a 150/150, then I had to buy the draw straw for it also. I will also be plumbing my gauge in this weekend when I do the install.

Any more advice while I'm in there?

Not familiar enough with your 02' to recommend anything else. Make sure you have a shopvac on hand to suck up the plastic shavings in your tank from drilling for the draw straw... Other than that, give it heck...

O.k., just got the FASS install done. Fuel gauge is hooked, 15psi., everything went fairly easy. Thanks for all the help input to see me along.

Now, the truck still runs like crap, seems like there is still air in the lines, I'm gonna try bleeding them again tomorrow. Could it be that we nicked one of the injector tubes when we installed them? If so, are those avaiable at Cummins, or would Midwest Injection have them?

Once again, thanks, hopfully I'll get this thing figured out.

Well, I just did a code check, 1693 and 0216, anyone have a line on a VP44?

Maybe I have air in the line still? I cant believe it, all this for just changing injectors.

Tony, Cose 0216= VP44 r.i.p.

No, its not running any better. Seems a bit better when I turn the box on, but without it, the truck cant get out of its own way!

I'm calling the dealer today, see if they will warranty it.

I think I have asked you Don. But were those new injectors? Did you have them checked?

If all of this started happaning after the install then that would lead me to think that the injectors are the problame...

Keep us posted when you here something......Jay.....

Jay , I was thinling the same thing. If they wont warranty it, I'll put the stock injectors back in, then have these checked out. Any suggestions of where to have them tested at?
