looking to do my clutch in the next few weekends.

Good call. Mikey has one, but its rating is borderline for pulling the transmission and tranfercase together. It is a HF jack, that sounds like it will end in disaster.

I am wondering if I can use an ATV jack I have and make a cradle.

I have a large floor jack, might work if you could prop it up.

planning on doing this Friday or Saturday in Danville and using my ATV jack. It has a nice big level platform, I hope it works.

Ended up using a trans jack adapter from Harbor freight that my friend had and make a few improvements to it. worked GREAT

We were a little concerned about it with the size and weight of the trans and transfercase still bolted together, but it was very solid.
