Ive heard bad stuff about ALL Lithia dealerships. Dont take care of the customer very well. There was a thread on here I believe; enough to convince me that my money wont go to Lithia...just do a search on Lithia

Ive bought 3 pickups from Dave Smith in the last 10 years. Havent been screwed yet! Unless you count the 05 I bought, but I blame it on our friends from south of the border that put it together!

i limped my '99 into twin with a blow intercooler boot, very helpful, poor mechanic, tightend the clamp onto the housing and not the boot, blew it off again within a couple hundred miles... and about dave smith, i bought my '07 in a little town called orofino for about $6000 less dave smith. i do know if you take your dodge out of state for waranty work, alot of dealerships won't work on a dave smith rig

a lot of these dealerships in Wyoming, where i am now, are losing buisness to dave smith. people are willing to drive the 600-900 miles to get these 'great deals'. i suppose if you rolled in with out of state plates with dave smith sticker on your tailgate, they may think differently.

I tried Dave Smith but a dealership in Preston Idaho beat his price by $4000. Check West Motor in Preston Idaho, they have a pretty good inventory.

I've never heard a bad thing about D. Smith. Other dealers getting pissy because you bought your truck there is just plain stupid. Maybe they ought to get a clue.

I haven't heard a thing bad about Dave; but, I beat his price also at Mountain Home, Id and at Peterson's in Nampa, Id...... But, by only a couple of thousand. Sounds like I didn't do as well as I could have. Of course, this is on the same identical truck (same options and trim!).

What about Lathams? I personally have never bought from there but they have done my parents right on 7 or 8 rigs, 2 of them being cummins, and they still own three of the vehicles they bought there.
