Sounds like you might have a money maker with a complete canister mod kit for the aftermarket pump customers. Sure does beat driving around sourcing out all this stuff. Nice work!

John can you PM me a price on all the parts needed to do this? All my extra fittings from my airdog kit are long gone, so I will need to buy them all new.

i pulled my bed to open her up again to see if i could rid of this 1/4 tank issue and went to my hardware store and all they had was brass gas line fittings. does anyone know if i can use brass gas line fittings in place of the original fittings?? it was all my hardware store had and it being a sunday, there isnt anywhere else open to get any of the actual hydraulic fittings. everything on them matches up, the push loc and the flares as well are all the same. im just worried about the diesel eating at the brass??? anyone know for sure about this??

Got it John Thanks

I have questions.

Can this be done without disabling the factory pump? I was kind of trying to keep it in there as a back up.

its pretty tight in there and we have never tried that. you will have to disconnect the power to the oem pump also and this can be done from outside the unit by cutting and using a spade terminal to reconnect later if needed. i am sure you can make it work

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH How do I do dat?

Yep and I use Vasoline on every electrical connection not soldered. I also put shielded spades on with the Vasoline and heat shrink over the shanks. Have not seen corrosion on any connections, even after years. I got some pretty old custom cars laying around here.

Can't I just pull the factory fuel relay?

Is the 05 canister the same as my 07? I have a spare canister but it came off an 05. I have an 07 and was wondering. I'm thinking of doin the DSV along with the AD150.
