Classified Rules
Mark 'Sold' Items If your item sells - there is a sticky in every for sale section, please copy the URL of your for sale ad and paste it in that thread to let a staff member know that your item is sold.
NO Piggybacking Do not mention your item for sale in another's thread. Create a new thread for each sale. Please post the location or zip code of you or where your items are located, it helps reduce clutter in the threads and may help your item sell quicker. Bumping (moving your thread to the top of the page), too frequently and someone will call you on it. A good rule is 24 hours. Adding pictures or answering questions inside of a thread does not apply to the "24 hour bumping" rule. This is not an auction site Post a price. If you want people to "bid" on your item, take it to ebay. Trade feeler threads are allowed, but if it turns into a FS thread, seller MUST post a price or the thread will be immediately closed or deleted. If you are selling multiple times concurrently or if you have several threads posted, please consider consolidating your items into one thread. Cross posting items that will work on different year trucks is allowed. Sellers are entitled to ask any price they want for their item. Please do not contact a seller or post in his/her thread regarding their prices unless you’re interested in purchasing the item. Also, do NOT question a seller's price in a For Sale thread. Making offers via PM or email is OK, but thread interference with any of the above mentioned items will not be tolerated. No side businesses whether it be homemade stack kits, decals, parting out vehicles, or buying and reselling performance parts/DPF systems. If you are doing it to make money, its not welcome in the classifieds. If you would like, you can team up with your favorite vendor and try to market your items through them. We understand it doesn't pay for you to become a full blown vendor just for a $5 sticker. Not being a vendor is unfair to those whom pay their dues for the privilege. If you'd like more information on how to become a vendor please email sales@autoforums.com DPF/Cat Recyclers We understand there is a market for buying DPF systems and selling them for recycling. Do not post ads looking for DPF/Catalytic converters for trying to scrap them out. This falls under the side business rule. Seller Disputes We have a buyer feedback section, we encourage you to use it. If there is a dispute against you, your classified ads will be locked or deleted until the issue is resolved. You are putting your own reputation on the line if you try to sell an item for a friend. If they would like to sell the item on this site, they must sign up and list it themselves. You must own the item you are selling Just as you are not allowed to let others use your account, you must own the item for sale. Craigslist/Ebay ads If you want to sell your item on here, please write out an actual ad. Its okay to have a link to your Craigslist or Ebay ad for extra pictures, but please have a majority of you listing posted in your for sale ad. If you only mention the item then link it to your Craigslist ad, it will be moved to the Craigslist/Ebay ad section. iTrader abuse any abuse of the iTrader system will lead to an automatic ban, no questions asked. It undermines the entire premise of the system and shows that you have no reason to be here. |

New Mobile Application
Hi everyone,
We have completed the testing of our mobile application, and it is now available for purchase in the iTunes store. When searching for the app, you have look up "AutoGuide". Once you have found and downloaded it, you will be able to go through our list of sites and choose this one. You can also click on this link to download it to your iPhone/iTunes directly: http://itunes.apple.com/app/autoguid...412489069?mt=8 Some of you are probably aware that this site has Tapatalk currently. Our app is designed to work along side Tapatalk on this forum, so if you are currently visiting our forum using Tapatalk, it will continue to work as it did before. The AutoGuide app is designed to work exclusively with the AutoGuide network, so if you happen to frequent several of our forums, it will work on those as well, and you can easily jump between them. We do have plans to also release a free version of the app in the future supported by mobile advertising. Thanks, Dwayn
