Are yall coming up with a new setup for a pyrometer? I just got my mini maxx and didnt come with the pyrometer since they no longer come with it but id like to have one for it. What is the reason you dont sell them with the pyro anymore?
There are some other threads about this around but basically it sounds like they were having fairly high warranty issues, I am not clear if it was the probes, the PCH, or both.
They're working on an alternate option. I strongly suspect if you repositiones one of the downstream pros into the manifold and hooked it up it would work, though I don't know if the leads are long enough and you can't just simply splice into Pyro leads..they're way too sensitive.

It wasn't mostly warranty issues as it was a combination of being able to source the PCH boards combined with installation errors by the end user. Their new pyro setup will be a little easier to install and remove some margin for error.
The new kit makes the install a little easier. You still have to drill and tap for the pyro unless you use one of the rear cooler delete plates, which by the way HS will be selling with their cooler kits. You simply plug the end of the probe harness into the factory egt connection under the hood and thats it.
I have already tapped and running a mechanical gauge right now but I also have the block off plate tapped that the edge was running off of which is why I want the one for the mini maxx just to be safe for defueling
Thanks for your patience guys, we hope to have them ready to ship by the middle to end of next week. We will keep you updated so that you know when to expect them.
