no power

I have a 99 dodge 2500. going down the road the truck looses power. after I let off the pedal the power comes back but it is doing it more often and the engine is running hot and I am having to refill the radiator every other day.

I appreciate any help

I would stop driving it right now. . .it sounds like you may have a '53' block that has finaly cracked. if you look on the passengers side of the engine you may see what looks like brown water streaks under the turbo.

what cases this is the block was cast way too thin. 5.5mm as opposed to what it was supposed to be 11mm thick.

can it be fixed, it is expensive to have the block drilled and welded back together (lock-n-stitch)

as far as loosing power. the lift pump may be on the way out and you letting out of the throttle give is a little breather to get flow back up.

I know I'm brining alot of bad news, but this is what I believe is going on if your looseing power and having to refil the radiator.
