Kind of sad and ironic, isn't it. Gonna go check out a local biodiesel guy's setup maybe this weekend...

Now, in recent weeeks, diesel pump prices seem to have stabilized, yet each day the barrels are @ new highs.
Bottom line, Exxon and others have had record profits in last year or 2 but I think the big diesel users (trucking companies, construction companies. etc.) must be exerting some pressure...

I have noticed a 2 mpg drop when I use discount fuel (grocery store fuel). I get the best performance and mileage from Shell fuel.
Your truck is possessed!

Even with 3.73's, I try to stay under 65 and 2k rpm. That, 80 psi in front and 70 in duals, short shifting, the tailgate spoiler, and coasting down hills, seem to help the most.

Has anyone seen documented hand calculated mpg increases taking out the turbo silencer ring and intake tube ring? My family sure likes the quiet truck, but for another mpg or 2 they could tolerate the whistle...

I wonder if the Kroger/Ingles get fuel from a differnet distributor than Shell. I have been told several times it all comes from the same tankers/ships...

I'm working on a WVO setup. My friends already have it in their powerstrokes. I just need a few parts to finish mine. That reminds me, I need to call the GM dealer.

GM parts on a Dodge. Bet that'll make some of you mad.
