Alright... I finally got an e-mail back from our friends at Commerce. Here it is,

Hi Brian,
The best night for you and your friends is Friday's when we have our Year One Fast Friday Street Legal Drags. WE have about 25 of these Friday night deals a year. $20.00 is all it costs and you will need a helmet if your truck runs faster than 14 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Hope this helps. Mike

So... whos up for some fun on a Friday night? Let me know what works best, and I'll keep you posted with what the guys up here in SC say as well. See if our schedules mesh.

why cant they make these things on saturday's or sundays. . .people have to work in order to make money to put their vehicles back together in failed attempts at making their rig faster

I'm sorry if a Friday night will eleminate some. I still hope that more will come. Drew, I do hope that you can make it! Anyone else that would like to come, PLEASE come on out. We can all get together and have a couple of "beverages" and maybe if it is early enough, might could even cook some burgers too!!

After to talking to several people, I believe that we probably won't make it to this. Not very many folks here want to make a 2 hour drive after work on a Friday. SORRY!!

Well, the only problem with getting together at commerce is the fact that on saturdays they have points racing. I'll send our friends at atlanta dragway another e-mail and see what I can come up with!!

I know it's a ways off but don't forget September 5-6 at Commerce. This will be year 7 of having the diesels there.

Friday night is a open test and tune, and Saturday is a full day of racing of everything, not just diesels.

NADM will sanction the diesel classes, and the DPM dyno will be there too.
