As far as odds and ends type stuff.....the best place for that is over on Victory Drive, place called Columbus Custom Exhaust. Looks like a rat hole, but the owner, Jimmy, is one of those rare, hard core, off road, can wrench on anything kinda guys. He won't rape your wallet either and he drive a Cummins.

As far as bass fishing.....head either down to Lake Eufala on the AL side or up above Goat Rock damn.

The bass fishin here ain't really the best. The water is too nasty.

Howdy

Hey guy's, newb here. Just picked up my 08 mega 4x4. My nerv's are still shot.

I'm out in Harris county. I grew up just off victory drive, moved when I was a teenager but moved back when my folks got old enough to need me back here.

I'll be look'n for a place to get a bed liner, prolly line-X...but I'm undecided. I will also need a goose neck ball the will be recessed when not in use & some step rails.

When my warranty expires, I'll be ready to do some mods such as the dpf & egr deletes...etc. Mostly for milage.

However, my brother is running a 5.9 that needs some attention. It's seems to be a lot weaker than it use to be. He thinks he may have some injector issuses but he's not sure. He also wants to put a 4" exhaust on it.

I would really appreciate some info on some local... quality orriented parts & accessories places.

I may be able to help out on upholstory needs, I've been doing that work since jr high.

Anyways, good ta see some folks local!!!

By the way lake eufaula is the only place around ta do any real bass fish'n. West point used to be ok, but it's been pretty weak for a while now.

Hope you guys aren't sticklers for spelling...

If you are looking for Linex, I STRONGLY recommend that you STAY THE "F" AWAY from Trailers and Hitches.

Those guys SUCK!

I've had to go back several times to have them reshoot messed up spots, rips, tears, etc.

They did THE WORST job on a bedliner I'm ever had.

yep

Yeah, those guys are crooks...I don't know how they stay in buisness. Their prices are high and the work is shoddy.

A buddy of mine had them install a hitch on his pick-up. After a couple of trips to north Ga to ride dirt bikes, pulling a small enclosed trailer, he was ready to take the new trailer back cause it was making noise. I looked at it and found the hitch was set up to have six bolts. From the paint marks it looked like it only had four, but was down to three and one of those was with a few threads of falling out.

Don't worry...that place I stay away from.

I get into Atl quite a bit, I may look around up there.

Hell yeah, we can do a combo BBQ / put your cab lights on, beer fest......

I'm not saying how straight the lights will be, but beer will sure make them look straight.

If anybody wants to play on Friday night, we can hit the track right here in Phenix City and roll a little convoy coal.....
