Definately a load bearing wall....You can take measurments of the spans on either side of wall and note the joist sizes and your local building supply should be able to size you a glue lam to get rid of the wall...you'll have to shore it up on either side of wall then remove old wall add columns and set your new beam

yea i would say to get a mesument of the wall from one end to the other gat a truss or beam and you will have a 12" drop were the beam is and on each end were you suport it

First off I'm no structural engineer, just a farmboy that hates to pay people to do stuff that I know I'm capable of myself.
I'd venture to say by the pics ANYWHERE there is an overlap of floor joists then it is a load bearing wall and you'd better be carefull dropping it without the proper support's in place first. I took out a load bearing wall in between my kitchen and what was a 3rd bedroom making a huge eat in kitchen, temporarily took up the load 2 feet either side then dropped the wall and put a beam in its place.
I'm gonna have to agree with Brycee's suggestions that a beam of sorts would be the best way to proceed.

Always handy to have a good bottle jack around in case it sags a little when you remove the existing wall and needs to be raised back up when you install your header.

If you get the measurement from the exterior wall to the bearing wall, I can size the header that you will need to take that wall out. I am an architectural tech, and also have structural sizing degree. You will need two measurements. One from the exterior wall to the center of the wall in the picture ((measure parallel with the joist)or Joist Length to the wall)) and then the same on the other side of the wall. Example 1) #1 exterior to center is 12'-0", other side #2 is 14'-0". If you get me those, and tell me how big you want to go with an opening, I will get you an answer.
