Gwinnett/NE ATL: Anyone ever do a VP44 and can lend some guidance?
Hey all, got my truck about 10 days ago, and voila, my IP and LP go out on Sunday. I had bought the truck from a guy who had said he did the LP about 4k miles ago. Well, whatever the case, I need to install a new VP44 and I bought a Holley Blue Pump and big Line Kit. Would anyone be willing to lend me a hand on this? I am pretty well versed in Gassers, but with only owning this thing for 10 days, I havent even done an oil change yet. Pizza/Beer will be provided. Thanks. -Greg

Got it solved. Just ran the thing a bit too low on fuel and vapor locked the 44. Cracked the lines as told to do on this forum as well as gave it gas while starting. After a few tries, she started right up. Went to go hook-up the fuel pressure gauge, and found out got shorted one compression fitting. So, ordering one from Grainger today. I also picked up my holley blue pump last night and my big line kit will be in today. Everything will be going on either tomorrow night or some time this weekend.
