Another New Georgia Member: White 2000 QC SB
Hey all, figured I would introduce myself to the region. I will be picking up my 2000 QC SB this Thursday. The previous owner has a matching 2000 QCSB 6 speed and this one was his wives, however, she wanted an SUV for their newborn instead. The PO is a diesel Mechanic for heavy equipment with Yancey Caterpillar and has taken meticulous care of this thing. He rebuilt the rear end, , new lift pump, Suncoast Triple Disc tranny, Boss Hoss chip(I know, but it will work for the time being), SS 4" turbo back, Pro-Comp ES-3000 shocks, new brakes, Amsoil EVERYWHERE and meticulous maintenance records. It also has black line-x in the bed, on the rockers, and the lower front bumper. I got a great deal on it, plus, I could not pass up the gas mileage/price of diesel over the 8-10 mpg I get in either my 72 powerwagon or my girlfriends 86 bronco. It will be my 'commuter' but also have a little fun and haul some stuff(26' Seaswirl walkabout) occasionally. I plan to keep it somewhat the way it is but build it over time. i did already order my fuel pressure gauge, and the walbro pump and vulcan relocation kit are in the works. However, being an engineering student at Southern Poly and not making very much money for now, It will take some time. Mods to come: BHAF Levelling kit and 35's Ditch the Banks and go with an Edge Comp Things that have to come first: New seat covers(can't stand the interior for too long) Tool Box Hardwire Inverter CB for trips to and from the gulfshores with the Georgia Saltwater Fishing Club Now onto the pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know I just missed the most recent meet, however, I do plan on getting up with yall in the near future. -Greg Last edited by strictly gravy : 05-08-2007 at 09:44 AM. |
