Wrench day

Hey guys, That was a good time on saturday. We need to get together again and have this wrench day. I have an auto garage across the street from where I live and he doesn't usually work on the weekend and I am sure if I talk to him about what we are wanting to do he would be more than happy to clear out a bay for a saturday or even a sunday for us so we can spend the day putting trucks on the lift and do some wrenching. Hell he might clear out both bays and we will have two lifts.

For the guys who inquired about the rear traction bars, Send me a PM with the length of the bars that you want and I can get the metal and get it cut out so possibly when we set up the wrenching day we can drill, weld, paint and bolt them up. Also, How does $100.00 sound per set?

$100 sounds great to me...I really need a set after letting a buddy drive my truck and watching the rear axle. It moves a ton! I will take some measurements tomorrow hopefully and PM you from there.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me with my truck. It was a rough day but things could have been worse(I mean, it still runs right?)

Update: I put my stock turbo on last night to putt putt around til I get my new one. Man is it slow... It looks like a seal blew and sent oil through my intercooler and intake, which explains why my injectors were covered in oil when I installed them on Friday. I called the guy with my turbo and he will be in touch with me on monday morning about getting a new one. Hope to see everyone again soon and it was nice to put a face to a name.

Sounds good. Good to here you figured out your problem and hopefully you get that new turbo on soon. Be good if you could make it to the wrenching day we are setting up.

My buddy that was there with the v-10 le went straight home and got on the auto trader and found him an 01 just like roper's up in Macon and I guess he is going there monday to trade his in. I guess we helped out the diesel bug and it bit him hard.

Hey Tread and Drew, When I left I don't know if you guys heard me leaving but it was a good thing I didn't run it on the dyno because I had to baby it all the way home cause my injection pump was not working hardly at all. Maybe when this wrenching day comes around I will have a new pump and fass system ready to put on.

I'm in on the wrench day That would be a great day to put in my fuel pressure gauge As for the day I would say in like two months so everybody could come up with what they wanted to put on their truck.

If the baby isn't here yet, I'll be there. Don't know what wrenching I'd have to do though. 4" exhaust and a bhaf? Or better yet, some gauges. Not as exciting as injectors and turbo work, but hey, it's wrenching, right?
