How big is this one compared to the stock manifold?

Everything is the same size, its a direct boltup, the big deal for the HTT being better is the fact that it is a 3 piece unit and this allows the two end pieces to expand and contract off the center section. Look at the pic closely and you will see what I mean.

What was your reasoning of picking the HTT over the ATS ??

As I plan this upgrade in the future also.

I have read many posts about the ATS 3 piece manifold and most folks say the pieces are very hard to get together, they have to use the freezer and oven method to just get em hooked up, I also read that the HTT unit is better on the port matching and final finish, the HTT unit is tapped for a pyro and the ATS isnt, its no big deal to drill and tap a hole but thats just a benny. I also have great respect for Lazer Bob where I bought the manifold from.

I will post more details on it for the install and performance when I get it done, did receive it but want a full weekend to mess with it before I put it on, still busy doin other things right now

I was planning on taking some pics so I could do a thread on it, will be pretty straight forward. Stay tuned for details We plan on doing some tech articles here so it wont be a problem to put it on the Diesel minded database at the same time. For anyone who hasnt checked out 's database you really need to as alot of great info is there for us.........................A big thumbs up to you for the hard work and commitment.

Thanks for permission tho' Ill be sure to work it in to the site .

Im thinking of going with the HTT I guess people have a heck of a time tapping the ATS ,,,,

I thought the ATS came Assembled ??? I know its 3 pieces but I thought they were together when you bought it ?

I work Swing Shift left the house today @ 4 PM got home @ 6 AM 2 on 2 off 3 on 3 off then I go to days .... will leave @ 4Am and get home @ 6PM then over and over for the rest of my life .... Working for a living is not the way to go
