I did some research back in highschool and an article on fuel, I remember to this day that a book told me that 85% of gasolines energy is released thru the radiator in BTU's (British Thermal Unit- the amount of heat required to raise one pound of water one degree F) I have no idea how this corrilates with diesel but its prolly close to the same. I have wonnered since that day how a person could capture all that energy and use it toward effeciency

Gary this would be a good one for you to figger out since you are heavy on research
