A 24V Cummins with out a fuel Pressure gauge = Ticking Time Bomb !!!

WASTEGATE = A valve used to bypass exhaust around the turbine section of a turbocharger to control the speed of the turbine shaft to prevent excess boost pressure. This allows the turbocharger to speed up quicker to achieve maximum boost pressure without exceeding the safe maximum.

47RE: Automatic transmission put in from 94-2002. This transmission has many problems including valve body, torque converter, and cooling problems.
48RE: Four speed automatic transmission put in from 2003-to now. Not a half bad transmission. Seems that DCX fixed it. Still only has four gears while ford has five and chebby has six

TURBINE - That portion of a turbocharger where engine exhaust spins a set of blades to turn a shaft that drives the turbo compressor.

COMPRESSOR WHEEL - The impeller wheel in a turbocharger that spins to compress air, creating boost pressure.

We're missing one of the most common ones...egt. Egt stands for exhaust gas temperature. That is exactly what it says it is. It's the temperature of the exhaust gasses going into the turbo charger. You can mount a probe in the exhaust manifold and moniter it with gauges in the cab.

CaTCHer! (Clutch and Traction CHallenger)

The CaTCHer is an OEM Dodge/Cummins Engine Control Module (ECM) with custom software that takes control of the engine fueling away from the engine computer and returns it to the driver. It IS the ECM, it is not an add on box that plays "smoke and mirrors" with your fuel injection pump.

The CaTCHer is year and model specific. Each CaTCHer is custom programmed to your requirements.
