Tuner advice...

I just purchased an '06 3500, QC 5.9, auto, 2wd & I'm looking for tuner advice.

The truck already has a K&N CAI, and cat back exhaust.

I will be using it for towing, (anything from an open single car trailer, to a 40 ft enclosed two car trailer).

I don't care about smoke, noise, 1/4 mile times, etc. I just want a SAFE tune for MPG and performance.

I have a Superchips tune on my '99 3500 w/ATS intake/exhaust manifolds, & 4" Bully dog exhaust (usually don't turn it down to tow, I just keep an eye on the EGT and be sensible about how I pull out). I like this combo on my gen2, but I'm looking for advice on the gen3 before I spend the $.

I've tried the quadzilla mileage max, XZT+, and the edge Juice with attitude. Honestly enough I liked the XZT+ the best. It had great power and egt's were fine even towing my 43' fifth wheel. It noisied up the engine quite a bit but the power was smooth and it's not crazy enough to blow anything up. I also liked it because I didn't have to do anything to the computer. Just plug it into a couple of sensors and go. Also with the XZT+ I averaged about a 1.5mpg increase. I've been looking for a smarty jr, but it's hard to get a deal on them. They seem to be the favorite here but I can't say because I've never tried one.
