usually guys will run stock headgaskets to 45-50 lbs of boost. u have an edgse w/attitude. look at ur boost gauge when u floor it. if it is only around 30lbs of boost then no prob, but any higher than 45 u should probably think about getting some head studs installed just to be safe,

ya,i dunno i heard that the edge only reads to 42 or 44 psi. And i see 44 psi on the edge all of the time,it has been like that for over a year now,so i dont know what i really have. Can you put in headstuds without pulling the head off??and what is the deal,do the stock studs stretch??and what is drive pressure and how do you know if it is high??

More fuel=More boost. You're probably goin to be pushin it when you put in the 200's on a stock headgasket and head bolts. You won't "put out the fire", it'll just smoke like a b!tch. I don't know the specs on ur A3000, so it may not. Drive pressure is the pressure created in the exhuast housing part of the turbo. If your exhaust housing is to small then it creates a restriction in the outflowing exhaust pressure coming from the cylinders. If the flow is restricted to much then it will "back up" into to the cylinders and cause excessive pressures in the cylinders, which could cause a headgasket to blow.

im not sure on the specs but it flows 10ppm more than a super b and 4 ppm less than a super b special, dont know where that puts me as far as smoke output,i dont care a whole lot for massive amounts of smoke.
