Well - I have a question about codes. An 07 5.9 Mega... I was trying to retreave my hour meter but could not remeber how i did it before. In the process I held the odometer button in and turned on the ignition. (I had tried to have the ingintion on and hold the odometer to get hour meter and it didn't) So I held the button turned on ignition and got some sort of test pattern - three sets of numbers - first with two dashes (on above the other) and the number 33, then, space with the number 44 then a C with 541 .... what are these numbers - and how do I get my hour meter.....?? As it cycles through, the tack speedo and other gauge needles bounce to different positions as well.....

page 183 of the owners manual....

NOTE: There is also an engine hour function. This
indicates the total number of hours the engine has been
running. To display the engine hours perform the following:
Place the ignition in RUN, but do not start the
engine. With the odometer value displayed, hold the trip
button down for a period of 6 seconds. The odometer will
change to trip value first, then it will display the engine
hour value. The engine hours will be displayed for a
period of 30 seconds until the ignition is turned off or the
engine is started.

THANK YOU - I went through that stupid book a dozen times and kept missing it..... Though I still WONDER (Not Worry) about those numbers that came up on the cluster test cycle??
