Ford F-800 with a Cummins

I'm looking at buying a 98' med. duty truck.
Has the Allison auto trans,50k original miles.
The truck is real clean,16ft bed with tommylift.
Plan on pulling my equipment trailer,19k lbs. loaded.
Cummins is 12v,175 hp.(slow but reliable).
I need some input on the set-up.
Anyone have any exp.using this type truck for work?
Local,no OTR use.

Thanks
