2001 5-speed idles fast after using cruise control
My 2001 Cummins 5-speed manual idles faster than normal about 1000 rpm after using the cruise control until it is shut off and restarted. Then it idles normally. Has anybody else experienced this? I have read a lot about accelerator pedal position sensor (APPS) replacement in the threads, but not much can be found about what the symtoms are when they go bad. It strictly happens after the cruise is used, and is normal at all other times. Also anybody ever heard of cruise servo trouble? Any ideas? Thanks
