$150 fuel filter my A$$

Went to get my oil changed today at a SpeedieLube joint in Carthage, MO, today. Wanted to get a new fuel filter, too. They wanted to charge me -- I kid you not -- $150 just for the fuel filter. $17.50 at AutoZone.

Punk- mofos.

Needless to say, I didn't purchase their fuel filter.

What the heck? Did you ask them why they wanted so much for it? My WIX was 15 something at Advance...

NAPA or OReily only charges about $25.00

My brother owns a 6.4 powerstroke....went to get him an air filter and fuel filter at Ford dealer....$150 EACH!!! Ouch that has to hurt...I had a little fun telling him how many filters I could buy for my truck for that kind of money

I jsut picked up two Baldwin 7977 filters for $33 and change. They are a 2 micron filter

EDIT!!!! OOps! I mean 5 micron!

5 microns, but yes a GREAT filter.

i pay like $4 a filter and i buy miny by the case to get them for that price but its well worth it

if i buy them 1 at a time there only $8

I believe it's 5 micron absolute (2 micron nominal).
