question on a 99 5spd....

Im going from a 05 6spd to a 99 5spd due to some finacial down falls. My question is the 99 is slow compared to my 05 I HAD, am I just spoiled with the 05 or should this truck be that much slower?(05 had 5 inch, with green filter and a diablo sport programmer, the 99 has edge with outlook and 4 inch w/ muffler and stock intake)

yea vp trucks are undoubtedly slower than the CR. your chipped CR definitely rolls out on your vp truck. get some injectors and a fuel system for the 99 and you'll surely be happy with results. stock injectors are pretty lame on these trucks.

You can make the VP trucks scream just keep in mind your 05 started with a 100Hp more than your 99
