Stacks ?'s Answered...

I know a lot of people had questions about exactly how i did my stack setup being they are tucked right outside the rear slider.. Well Sunday i decided to tear down and repaint everyhting and make some "rings" to keep the bed cover from wearing the paint off any more... i will try to get some pictures of the underneath in the next few days also.... in the pictures you can see the measurements also if this wants to be duplicated...

I also "inset" the incomming pipe so that water would hold around it instead of feeding back into the exhaust...(also the reason for the "V" shape) i then drilled 2 1/4" holes on the sided of the incomming pipe... all the nasty sooty water drains out there... 2 hurricanes worth of rain and a 2 day monsoon and i didnt get a drop of black rain!!

The box mounted in the truck..

Here you can see where the bedcover was wearing the paint off the stacks...

The box..

I took all the pictures before the repaint, some patch up welding and regrinding... the prime n paint... its all black now.. will get under the cover tonight n take some more pics... this is my solution to bed cover movement..

Did that box make it sound any different? Have any problems with one side getting more exhaust then the other?
