just installed low fuel pressure light

I just installed a low fuel pressure light. But when i floor it and the peddal is to the floor it comes on and as soon as i left off the gas it goes off. Is that somthin to worry about since i dont really floor it often or is it somthin i should look into like a fass.

If it's coming on, your LP isn't providing enough fuel for your VP44. I'd start looking for a new LP. There are a lot of options out there, for example, I have a Glacier Diesel 392 kit on my truck because my LP was on it's way to the grave at 40K miles. Now I have 20 psi to the injection pump and some piece of mind that the stock LP isn't going to leave me sitting on the side of the road. With a VP44, you REALLY need to keep sufficient FP to the injection pump or it will die. And a remanned VP44 is around $1500 bucks IIRC...

have someone check the FP mechanicly first before you do that. i had an issue last week where someone got a bad pressure switch and it was giving false readings. although of course it wouldn't be a bad idea to add a new lift pump anyway.

you can leave it in there as long as you put the new draw tube in, just make sure you unhook the wiring for it

FASS and air dog both have strict map pricing, the price will be the same from any authorized dealer on the forum. I would go with the air dog over the fass, has a cleaner install and is more compact with a lifetime warranty, you cant go wrong with it.

100 if you dont plan on doing much to the truck, if you have the thought of ever putting in bigger injectors and or a heavy fueling programmer go with the 150.
