Flex Plate

Got a built tranny.....when does one need to look at getting a flexplate...a certain HP range 450 or so???

Yea, if your tranny is built and you are running the stock flex plate, that will be your weakest link and its purty weak at that.

I put one in. I used one of the ones on ebay that are only ~$160 shipped. They actually have an SFI 29.1 rating. Not as good as the +$400 and up ones. But way better than stock. I'll try to come back to this thread when I get to work to show you the diff.

If you do get a flex plate, BD does sell the best one on the market,
