Where are the fast dually's?

It seems any video i watch of a fast truck its a SRW axle. haven't really found any dually trucks. are they that much harder to go as fast? or do you not see them as much because most people don't need that big a truck, and if they do, they generally aren't racing it? Are there 11, 12, 13 second duallys? do they need any more HP/TQ to do it than their smaller brothers?

so then why does no one go for the dually? like stated does it just take that much more power to get it at the same speeds? How much does a extended cab full size bed truck weigh compared to one that is the same setup, but has a dually axle?

myself and BBRAM will be going to the track again (soon), he already has a 13.4 under his belt, tough for a 8k truck to get really fast but I think low-mid 12's for dd'rs is pretty good.

Milan here we come !!!!

ah ok. or wait, is it just simply that you are trying to turn 4 wheels on that rear axle, instead of just 2?

That extra weight doesn't help the matter. All the extra rotational mass to get moving is tough.

ok so now i'm confused. i found an article online and they said that a 2006 quad cab 4x4 dually with a 8 foot bed only weighed 7204? i was told the SRW trucks with the same setup weighed about 7400 lbs?
