Help Please!!!

I have a 1991 Ford Centurion ( a four door Bronco) i put a 1st gen cummins 12v in it. I put a boost gauge on it and it was only getting 3 pounds of boost.I was wondering were would be the best place to put the boost gauge on it. Any ideas would help alot.

Is it intercooled or not? Right in the intake horn would be a pretty good place. Check to make sure you gauge line isn't kinked or pinched, make sure you dont have a boost leak at the boots or intercooler? If everything is good than check for exhaust leaks, an exhaust leak that would cause that much loss would deff be noticeable though.
