makes me want to go and talk some sense into them. they should tax all the people with gas engines as those are the least efficient cars on the road, including the prius.... a diesel bmw can get better milage than one of those POS

thats the problem, they think they know everything. They think because the prius gets 45mpg and doesnt smoke that its efficent. If these people get their way its gonna be the death of this country.

That's what I don't get...they think the Prius is the solution...to what??? They use more natural resources in their production and they don't exactly get amazing mileage. A modified straight gas Civic can get their mileage...or damn close.

They ARE more practicle but they like to throw "efficient" around all the time. A gas engine will probably never be more efficient then a diesel...that is until they find a way to make a ceramic engine work.

seriously... hybrids is a gasoline's way of becoming as efficient as a comparative diesel engine. like the hybrid yukon, just throw a diesel in there and you'll get better mileage and less emissions.

south park wasnt too far off of their depiction of prius owners... thinking that they are all high and mighty. great episode lol

This is what I want to do to all prius cars. The good part starts at 2 minutes 45 seconds.

Hip Prius owner.

I have a cool ladyfriend/Prius owner who's not a liberal nut and got talked into a Prius by her husband. She has agreed to place a "Drill Here,Drill Now,Save Money" bumper sticker on her hatchback when I get her one.
