Its not necessarily the fact that you have a prius that makes you an idiot, its these people that have them and think they are saving the planet, think they are better than anyone that gets less than 40 mpg, and want to make it a law that everyone must drive a prius that are the idiots. These are the people that want to take the freedom of choice out of america

It's politics in the end..
remember the light bulb bill? The one that says that America will no longer be allowed to sell or import the current style of light bulb in favor of the halogen ones?

Well GE spend a lot of money to get the law drawn up and now starting 2015 ( or maybe it was 2010?) we get to pay $5 a bulb instead of $1 due to the energy saving and long life properties of the halogens. BUT WAIT... under closer inspection the halogen light bulb takes 5 times the energy to produce and on average they last no longer then the current bulbs AND they contain mercury which in not only bad for the environment but toxic to humans.

I don't see a need for us to antagonize the prius owners. After all we would be no better then them if we told them they had to drive a truck. I don't think the federal government would be that foolish to levy a tax against larger vehicles to reduce polution...at least not until we vote for Change and Hope then definitely.

We should just start making diesel from algea, and put a diesel in everything. But then of course we would probably get hell for killing algea or something along those lines.
