here's the real deal

I NEED a truck. I pull skid loaders, construction trailers, toy hauers, boats etc. The use of a truck is justified for me.

They just need a grocery getter. That's perfectly fine.

Now if we do to math. I get 15 mpg driving around in a 6000lbs vehicle. They get 45 in a 2000lbs vehicle.

WTF!!!! makes me love the cummins fourm and my 12 valve that much more. they want higher fuel prices to force us into buying into this BS
The problem is they only hear what they want to hear and dont care about volcanos. The funny thing is the other night discovery channel had a thing on about ways to stop global warming and one of the way is to put sulfur in the air, which volcanos do and also diesels,so really were solving the problem one black cloud at a time

I'm giving them the benefit of a doubt. :thumbsup

I don't think anyone will argue that they are saving money driving a prius. But they are no more green then our trucks AND if they really cared about the enviroment they'd be driving scooters

so you know that you have to have 5 post on their forum before you can post a picture.. i posted a pic in the thread newbies show your rides or something like that.. so i post a pic of a stock 2004 ram 3500 dually.. (im hoping to get on with in the next 4-6 months) not sure about the dually part though.. but i have a feeling they are not going to like that picture..

I hate to say this but a more interesting question is how long before this thread here gets killed. I think last time we got a bit carried away.
