gauge install question

putting a set of isspro guages in an 06...what does anyone recommend for gauge lighting?...best place to wire them to or any tips...thanks.

use a voltmeter on the back of your headlight switch and find the wire for the running lights and tap into it. I would solder it, the t taps everybody uses have a tendancy to break the wire eventually.

Remove the factory dimmer switch to gain access to the back of it and find the Orange wire with a Brown trace. Use this for illumination of the gauges.

There may be more than one wire with the same colors. Before removing the plug, test the wires with a voltmeter or test light to identify the correct one.

i just tapped into my cluster fuse in the fuse box. light up just fine and even dim when i dime the dash lights.
