Trucks' a wandering

Any body have the issue of thier truck seeming to wander all over the road. I only have 60,000KM on it so the front end shouldn't be shot !! My only guess would be the tires. Still has the original tires on it. I just recently rotated the front to the back, and now I get this wandering on any little bump or dip in the road. I torqued the nuts to the propper ft./lbs and made sure none have come loose. I don't see any play in the steering components. Not sure what to think! If it is the tires they must be really crappy!! I am not going to rotate any more if this is what happens each time. Does any one have any thoughts? And if this is a tire issue any ideas on what tire works well as a replacement tire?

Try checking the bottom bushing on your Pitman shaft on the steering box. Jack up both tires to unload the linkage, and start shaking the wheels back & forth. You may need a helper to shake while you look.

My dads chevy 2500 swayed like crazy when he put new tires on the front(i think they were Dunlop A/Ts). it took a couple hundred miles to break them in and now it rides fine..... not sure if its the same symptoms but sounds close.....
