"california" model difference

Is there any difference in "california" models? I would guess there's more emissions stuff, but I don't know if they do that for one tons. I'm looking at this truck and it says it's a california truck. thanks

eBay Motors: Dodge : Ram 3500 (item 160272115125 end time Aug-23-08 15:30:48 PDT)

edit: It's an '06, it's listed as a HO 5.9. I tried to fix the link but it's still not working? Is there somewhere to run the vin and know exactly what it is? thanks

That link is not working for me...anyways as far as a common rail goes, the programming for a California truck is little tamer on the 03-04, they are rated at 235/460. They also have a cat. Some of the 1996-97 California 12V trucks had external EGR. They respond to performance mods just like the SO trucks so I would not worry.
